All branches will be open normal business hours throughout the upgrade. HCB will also
offer extended hours via telephone support from 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Monday – Friday from
July 24 – August 1. On Saturday, July 26 we will offer additional telephone support from
9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. for customers who have questions or are experiencing technical issues.
Transaction limits on ATM, Point-of-Sale, and daily max will be from July 24 – July 28.
ATMs will be unavailable on Thursday, July 24. ATMs are expected to be available on Friday, July 25, or as soon as possible. Please note that not all ATMs will come back online simultaneously, and the time required for each may vary.
On July 24, you will need to activate your new debit card, as your old debit card will be deactivated and unusable thereafter. Once your new card is activated, it will function normally during the system upgrade. However, during the period from July 24 through July 28 transaction limits on debit and Point-Of-Sale (PIN purchase) transactions will temporarily change to $1,000, with a maximum daily limit of $1,300. Please plan ahead for this reduced daily spending limit.
Any pre-authorized deposits or withdrawals scheduled during the system upgrade weekend will be posted as normal.
This service will not be available from Thursday, July 24 at 5:00 PM until Monday July 28 at approximately 9:00 AМ.
You will now have digital access to all your HCB accounts, both business and personal, with one single sign on.
Both business and personal banking customers will be able to access all HCB accounts through our upgraded mobile app. The mobile app will automatically update for iPhone users. Android users will need to download the new app from the Google Play® store.
You will be able to seamlessly transfer funds between your HCB accounts and accounts at other financial institutions.
While we enjoy seeing you in person, visiting a branch will no longer mandatory to sign account and loan documents. You will have the option to conveniently eSign them using your
computer or smartphone.
Our enhanced MasterCard Debit Cards will be enabled with EMV chip technology. Like your existing card, you will eventually be able to add them to your Apple or Google virtual wallet and utilize Tap-To-Pay at numerous vendors. We will relay more specific details as they are available to us.
This payment alternative will be available for any P2P transactions. You don’t need to enroll in P2P—once it’s enabled for you, you can start adding payees and sending funds instantly.
During and after the system upgrade, the local bankers you know and trust will be with you every step of the way.
Your existing deposit account numbers and routing number will not change. The benefits and features of your deposit account will stay the same as well.
All checks written before and after the conversion will be processed as usual.
Any pre-authorized electronic payments will not be affected by the system upgrade. This includes transactions such as direct deposit of payroll or Social Security, or pre-authorized drafts such as telephone or utility bills.
The telephone banking number will stay the same. The number is (540) 965-0005.
Our web address will remain www.hc.bank. All branch phone numbers will remain the same.
The technology upgrade will not affect scheduled deposits and withdrawals, such as
Social Security benefits and payroll direct deposits. Authorized BillPay items, such as
utility bill payments, will also continue unchanged, requiring no action on your part.
All loan account numbers and Line of Credit (LOC) account numbers will change. This requires no further action on your part. The account number will be included on your first statement post-upgrade. Please give us a call if you need the account number prior to the first statement.
As a part of the conversion, all current debit card customers will receive a new, enhanced MasterCard debit card. Your new debit card will have a completely new card number, expiration date, and security code. On July 24, you will need to activate your new debit card, as your old debit card will be shut off and unable to use thereafter. Any recurring payments you have established using your old debit card will have to be re-established.
Online and Mobile banking will look different and will offer many new features.
Electronic payments refer to the method by which bill payments are processed electronically to your vendors. This commonly occurs with utility companies, phone service providers, credit card issuers, etc. After the conversion, the amount for electronic payments will be withdrawn from your account two days before the scheduled delivery date.
After the system upgrade, your deposit account statements will have a new updated look.
During this transition, remember to keep up with your security practices:
